2006

The first AGRC was convened in Oslo in August 2006, on the theme of Catalyst for Action. Some 142 participants from 20 countries attended and the Oslo Conference Resolution was adopted.

The main issues raised at the conference include the role of public-private partnerships, soil fertility, scaling up, leadership, donor support and women and biofuels.

Incorporated with the conference, the Yara Prize 2006  was awarded to Celina Cossa of Mozambique and Fidelis Wainaina of Kenya.
